Artist Profile: Porto Doria (2025)
In a serene Piedmont town, Italian-German illustrator Maria Aurora Zeiss creates richly detailed digital illustrations that capture the romance of travel, the elegance of cafés and grand hotels, and the beauty of imagined places. Her pieces, celebrated by Tory Burch and Condé Nast, interweave vivid colour, architectural pattern, and interior design aesthetics to tell stories rooted in both reality and reverie. Filmed over an Italian summer, from the winding streets of Genova to the quiet hills around her home, this portrait offers a glimpse into Maria’s art, her family, and the life she’s built around imagination.
